ABOUT PEECC

PEECC is the Progressive Education Experiences in Cooperative Cultures organization that aims to develop and implement programs that are pro-social, educational and which help improve the quality of life in general for the disadvantaged and underprivileged.

COMPANY PROFILE

The Foundation for Progressive Educational Experiences in Cooperative Cultures (PEECC) was officially established in 2000 by founder Ms. Sara Stone of Northern Virginia. Some internal restructuring in 2004 resulted in the organization becoming more organized with a more diversified program structure. The core programs were slightly revised and a number of new programs had been added. We have expanded or service area to accommodate more individuals in need, address issues that need (more) exposure and develop and implement programs that are pro-social, educational and which help improve the quality of life in general for the disadvantaged and underprivileged. The design and delivery of our programs will ensure that clients have structured, nurturing opportunities in contrast to a host of counterproductive support systems intended to affect their morale, development and success. Monetary and programmatic support will give PEECC the opportunity to provide perpetual services that vigorously support clients in achieving their long-term career goals through the focus of short-term individualized service strategies. Progressive Educational Experiences in Cooperative Cultures (PEECC) seeks to operate as a community service organization providing a variety of fundamental social, economical and educational services for disadvantaged, low-income individuals at risk in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.

MISSION STATEMENT

PEECC’s mission is to develop, evaluate and disseminate programs that foster ethical, social and intellectual development. Our modus operandi for realizing these goals is the strategic design, development and implementation of a number of practical program and services.

GOALS

PEECC has been formed with the primary goal of enhancing educational achievement, ameliorating employment preparation and retention, supporting vulnerable populations, and improving leadership development. One of PEECC’s prime objectives is to improve client outcomes through simultaneous intervention, at both the individual and community level.
